MGP

An agency got tired of turning small businesses away.

Cocomo Media has run campaigns for 250+ brands, from listed pharmaceutical companies to single-outlet bakeries. The pattern that never resolved was the smallest merchants: they needed the work most, could afford it least, and could never justify the meeting it took to start.

A merchant doing eight lakh a month cannot pay an agency retainer, cannot brief a campaign, and cannot tell whether the last thing they tried worked. None of that is a budget problem. It is a distribution problem.

They are already paying for software that knows exactly what they sell, to whom, and how often. That software has their trust, their billing relationship, and a login they open every morning. It is the only distribution channel that reaches them at the moment marketing is actually on their mind.

So the product is not another agency website. It is a catalogue that lives inside someone else’s software, priced in units a shopkeeper recognises, with the agency hidden behind an API. MGP is what an agency looks like when it stops asking small businesses to come to it.

The platform is new. The delivery behind it is a decade old, and that asymmetry is the entire pitch: nothing about the work is being invented here, only the way it is bought.

Four rules we wrote down before writing any code

  1. The platform keeps the merchant

MGP never emails, never markets to, and never sells directly to a merchant on your platform. The relationship is yours; we are plumbing.

  2. The report answers the merchant's question

Not the marketer's. It opens with whether more people came, and only then explains why.

  3. No service enters the catalogue we cannot staff

Every item is delivered by a department that already exists inside the agency. We do not list a service and then go looking for a freelancer.

  4. The customer data stays where it is

Attribution runs inside your tenancy. MGP does not become a shadow CRM, and never gets to sell the audience back to anyone.

Cocomo Media is the front door

Same company, different building. If you want the work, the studio and the seven services rather than the API, that is the main site.

Want the long version? Ask for it in person.
